A private guide will drive you into the mountains north of Liberia where you will find yourself in a beautiful mountain lodge. Canopy tour over a 200 foot ravine with a waterfall to your left. Horseback ride to a look out vista where you can see all the way to Nicaragua. Ride an atv over the working farm where you will stop to watch them produce cheese. Enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch. Rest and unwind in the natural thermal hot springs and mud baths.

Sport Fishing

Half and full day fishing available. From $300 for a 1/2 (prices are dependent on the size of the boat).

Scuba

Several dive operators in the area offer superb diving off our shores. See mantas, turtles, fish and sometimes even whales. A favorite location is the Catalina Islands.

Snorkeling

Snorkel the Pacific waters and discover the underwater world. Excursions will take you to places like Conchal Bay, Pirates Bay, Rabbit Beach, Capitan Island and Carbon Beach. $50 per person.

Off Road Adventure Tour

Enjoy the adrenaline rush of driving an off road 4 x 4 through various trails in the spectacular Tamarindo Mountains. Safe and easy to drive, the vehicles are equiped with automatic transmission, four point seatbelts and safety helmets.

Horseback Riding

Golf

Two very nice 18 hole courses available to you. Hacienda Pinilla or Melia Playa Conchal. High season/morning rates begin at $80 for 18 holes. There is also a driving range just outside of Tamarindo.

Turtle Tours

Nightly tours are available from mid October to early February. Watch giant leatherbacks in Playa Grande or the Olive Ridley turtles in Ostional National Park come ashore and lay their eggs.

Estuary Tour
